There is nothing quite like coming together as a community over great food for a great cause.
If you’ve been following Crossroads Pregnancy Centre over the last few months, you know that God has been moving in incredible ways. From expanding our client services to laying the groundwork for our new Supported Transitional Housing Program, our team has been working hard to ensure every expecting mother and young family in Nanaimo gets the practical care and support they need to thrive.
Now, it’s time to celebrate, and we want you to be a part of it!
We are so excited to officially invite you to our annual fundraising event: Desserts & Delights!
What is Desserts & Delights?
Desserts & Delights is our favorite evening of the year! It’s a joyful gathering filled with warm fellowship, inspiring real-life stories of transformation from our centre, and, of course, a high-energy live auction featuring some of the most delicious, handcrafted desserts created by local bakers and supporters.
Whether you come with a sweet tooth or just a heart for supporting families in crisis, it’s an evening guaranteed to leave you encouraged and inspired.
Why Your Attendance Matters
Here’s something many people don’t realize: Crossroads Pregnancy Centre is 100% community-funded.
We do not receive ongoing operational government funding to deliver our core services. Every diaper given, every options counselling session held, every infant car seat provided, and every parenting support group hosted happens because of generous local individuals, churches, and businesses who choose to stand with us.
Desserts & Delights isn't just a fun night out, it is one of our primary fundraising pillars for the entire year. The funds raised during this single evening directly supply the operational budget needed to keep our doors open and our practical resource program free for every family who walks through our doors.

We want as many people as possible from our Nanaimo community to experience this special night, which is why tickets are completely free! However, space is limited and seats are already filling up quickly.
